1st SMARTeeSTORY General Assembly in Delft
On 17 and 18 October 2023, we, the SMARTeeSTORY project partners, met at the Delft University of Technology for our first General Assembly.

TU Delft Science Day
On 22 October, TU Delft invited families and children to experience the project’s activities first-hand at the University’s annual Science Day 2023. During this free family event, various departments open their doors to welcome children with their parents to learn more about science and technology. The SMARTeeSTORY partners organized several interactive activities to share the project’s and other ideas on human-building interaction.

Technical Site Visits to Riga & Delft
In September 2023, several SMARTeeSTORY project partners met in Riga and Delft for technical site visits of their demonstrator buildings. The aim of these visits was to verify the practical implementation of the interventions foreseen during the proposal phase. The respective local partners, Riga Energy Agency and TU Delft, organised meetings between internal technical staff and the SMARTeeSTORY partners to clarify several aspects regarding the feasibility of the interventions. These meetings were the first of many to come, laying the foundation for the concrete work towards achieving the project’s objectives.

Kickoff Meeting in Genova
From 22-23 May 2023, we met in Genova, Italy, to kick-off our Horizon Europe-funded four-year project SMARTeeSTORY. The meeting provided an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss objectives, and establish a roadmap for the project's successful completion.

SRI Re-Evaluation Completed
Right before the end of the year, the SMARTeeSTORY partners reevaluated the SRI (smart readiness indicator) values for each of the three demo sites, keeping in mind the original values from the proposal phase.

Joint Webinar
Save the Date!
On February 13th, 11:00-12:30 h, SMARTeeSTORY will join the European Commission's initiative BUILD UP and its sister project BuildON for a joint webinar on the topic of energy efficiency in buildings.
